All characters start off as human, though through extended play, there is potential for minor mutations to take hold of the character. These will be offered and discussed during game play.

Once you have filled in all of the circles, your level increases, and you gain 1 point for Starter Stats, and 2 points for Bonus Stats. Each time you gain a level, you increase the max stat limit of your Starter and Bonus stats by 1.]
Citizen[This class starts off with 4 points for Starting Stats, and 3 points for Bonus Stats. Citizens have no real skills to be brought to the ship, so the majority of Citizens have been put into Hyper Sleep for the duration of the flight.] [Starts off with no items.]
Tech Specialist[This class starts off with 4 points for Starting Stats, and 3 points for Bonus Stats. +1 point to Scavenging, Crafting and Endurance.] [Starts off with 1 Flashlight, 1 Crew Jumpsuit, 1 Small Medkit, 1 Clip On Communication Device, 1 Holo-Tool. (A holographic tool used by technician workers on Paradoxius which allows them to manipulate energy into small constructs. Usually used for repairs and building, but there have been cases of which a person has created melee weapons out of the energy.)]
Engineer[This class starts off with 4 points for Starting Stats, and 3 points for Bonus Stats. +1 point to Crafting, Repair and Weapons Knowledge.] [Starts off with 1 Flashlight, 1 Crew Jumpsuit, 1 Small Medkit, 1 Clip On Communication Device, 1 Winch Gun. (A ranged item used by Engineers to reach the high ceilings. The first shot sends a tether made of energy out towards a target. Once hit, the gun can be fired a second time to attach the tether to another object. A switch on the gun itself dictates the slack or tautness of the tether. The tether cannot break, unless the gun loses functionality.)]
Agriculture[This class starts off with 4 points for Starting Stats, and 3 points for Bonus Stats. +1 point to Scavenging, Crafting, and Medicine.] [Starts off with 1 Flashlight, 1 Crew Jumpsuit, 1 Small Medkit, 1 Clip On Communication Device, 3 Small Blades intended for harvesting. (The blades have a return function on them, as those working in Agriculture have made complaints about losing their more delicate, specialty tools. If thrown, an event will trigger where a tether will draw the blade back to the user's hand, handle first.)]

(This ticket allows the user access to the more rare and valuable items that vendors may have.)]

(Allows for food to be made on the spot.)]

(Temporarily increases the Speed, Dexterity and Strength of the user. Bottle contains 10 patches.)]
Security[This class starts off with 4 points for Starting Stats, and 3 points for Bonus Stats. +1 point to Weapons Knowledge, Hand to Hand, and Endurance.] [Starts off with 1 Flashlight, 1 Crew Jumpsuit, 1 Small Medkit, 1 Clip On Communication Device, 1 High Voltage Stun Baton. (Surges with electricity when delivering strikes. Can be used to deliver a constant flow of high voltage electricity. Also has the ability to launch arcs of 'lightning' towards a near by enemy to stun them.)]
